We extend a very warm welcome to our visitors, friends and members who have come to worship with us. It is good to have you with us. We hope that you will stay for refreshments at approx. 10.40.
Our Praise worship today is led today by Harry Fawcitt. our Traditional worship will start slightly earlier than usual at 10.55 am, so that we can take part in the 2 Minute Silence for Remembrance Sunday. That worship will be led by Mrs Margaret Storey, Methodist Local Preacher.
Our Praise worship will be led by our Young People. This will be an informal café style worship. Please come along and support our young people!
Traditional worship will be led by the minister, Rev. Dr. Grant Wilson.

If you would like to make a monetary contribution towards the production costs of our magazine Contact, there are some small brown envelopes at the back of church for your gift. All donations will be gratefully received - Thank you.
Wednesday 14th - This is the last day for any items for the next edition of Contact, our magazine. If you have an article you wish to be included please give it or send it to Sandra Nossiter or Dorothy Barker by that date. Please ensure that you sign your article.
Thursday 15th at 7pm. Development Elders plus Finance committee.
Creating Safer Space Foundation Training:- at St George’s on Saturday 17th November at 2pm. Please give your names to Marina or Grant TODAY if you like to book a place as spaces are limited. This is largely for Elders, Worship leaders, Youth leaders.
If you have knitted any Christmas Angels this year, please could you bring them to church on or before December 9th, when they will be blessed before being taken to Junction 42, and given out.
Plans for the proposed Accessible Toilet in the church are now on display in the church vestibule. Church Meeting agreed that this should go ahead, though the Servery plans would need outside sources of funds before proceeding.
Christmas Offerings. If you have any suggestions for our Christmas Offerings, please let Dorothy B or Tony Hall know as soon as possible.
From 17th November to Christmas; Saturday Drop In, in the church, from 11 till 12 noon. Come along and chat, knit, or read the papers! This is open to everyone. Tea and coffee are provided.
Socks and Chocs.
Heaton Churches Together is now collecting Socks and Chocs for the People’s Kitchen for Christmas.
The donations are sorted into individual gift bags for the homeless.
Please see the poster in the vestibule for items which are needed.
There is a box at the back of church for your gifts. In addition, the Kitchen would welcome gifts of clothing - new tracksuit bottoms; T shorts; boxer shorts; waterproof jackets; jeans; sleeping bags.
