This year we are supporting the Newcastle East Foodbank. It aims to provide 3 days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. They urgently need:-
Tinned fruit, small jars of coffee, tinned vegetables, tinned meat/fish, rice pudding (tins), pasta sauce (not curry sauce), Juice- cartons or squash, tinned potatoes.
They have enough Beans and Cereal at the moment.
(We will still be collecting during the year for the Homeless who use the People’s Kitchen)

Church Building Work
Thank You to all concerned who have helped out while the recent Church Building work has been taking place. For those people who helped to clear the spaces ready for work to begin, who covered church furniture, who moved things into the large hall for worship - and back again, for those people who helped dust and clean the church afterwards.
A big thank you to Colin for organising the work itself.  We look forward to using our new facilities!
