This Week

We extend a very warm welcome to our visitors, friends and members who have come to worship with us.  It is good to have you with us.

Our Praise worship today will be led by Solomon and our Traditional worship by Mr Ian Patterson, URC Accredited Lay Preacher.

Next Week

Altogether Worship will take place from 10 am till 11 am and will be followed at 11.15 am by the CHURCH MEETING.  Tea/refreshments will be served after worship.  Members/Friends-  Please come to Church Meeting and have your say in the running of the church.

Little Fishes - Toddlers group
Meets this week at 9.30 a.m.
The last meeting before the summer break.
The group meets again on Sept 12th.

The Prayer Group is meeting this week at 6.30 in the church

Saturday
Singing Group

Meets this week.
The last meeting before the summer break.
Meets again on Sept 8th.


Heaton Festival
 Planning has already started for the 2019 Festival on June 22nd !!  If anyone would like to be involved in the organising of this, please see Grant or Dorothy. 


Seeds of Hope Mission 2018. (August 20th- 3rd Sept)
The team asks you to prayerfully consider:-

Solomon is willing to collect goods from you and store them. The last collection will be 18th August. 


THIS WEEK
Thursday 12th July – Development Elders and Property Committee meet at 7pm.


If anyone would like to take a turn at reading the lesson at either Praise or Traditional worship please let Dorothy B or Tony Hall know as soon as possible. 
For various reasons our list of volunteers has diminished.  If we have several further helpers you may be contacted to read every two months or so.   
All ages are welcome!

LMMR visit and report.
Copies of the report are available for you to read.  Please take one!


Please be aware that there are to be roadworks and resurfacing on some sections of Newton Road, starting in the school holidays. It will affect the area around the church.  The Council has sent a map, which is on the notice board in church vestibule.
